A tweet from Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima’s personal assistant seems to be a confirmation of the eccentric auteur’s presence at Sony’s PS4 launch event in New York City next week.
While the tweet –which reads, “In NY from today!” – might not be enough on its own, Kojima himself recently tweeted that he was going on a business trip, while Game Trailers’ Geoff Keighley, covering the event for Spike TV, also tweeted he was looking forward to seeing Kojima soon.
Translation: MGSV will almost assuredly make an appearance at the Sony bash, which is slated to have a slew of new game announcements. As silly as it may be to “piece together” developer activities through Twitter corroborations, count on Kojima being there – and probably presenting something new about Phantom Pain.
