Getting arrested is a way of life for Henry Earl. The 64-year-old Kentucky resident has been locked up over 1,500 times since July 1970, and he'll spend yet another Thanksgiving—his third in five years, to be specific—behind bars after being arrested for public intoxication outside of a fast food restaurant in Lexington last month.

Earl was first arrested in Fayette County at the age of 20 for carrying a concealed weapon. Over the course of the decade, he was arrested 33 more times; his arrest rate has skyrocketed in the subsequent decades. Hopefully, Thanksgiving Day spent at Fayette County Detention Center will be a little bit better than the other almost 6,000 days Earl has spent in jail.
