The above image taken from Google Maps shows a body lying on the ground near the Union Pacific railroad station in Richmond, Calif., with what seems to be a police car and officers nearby investigating the scene. The father of a teenager who was shot to death in that area believes it's his son, whose body was found near those same tracks in August 2009. Jose Barrera, the father of the murdered teenager, Kevin Barrera, is starting a petition to get the image removed from Google Maps. “When I see this image, that's still like that happened yesterday,” Barrera told local newstation KTVU. “And that brings me back to a lot of memories.”

The image may likely show Kevin's body, but it's worth noting that the watermarks on the image say 2011, two years after the murder. Richmond, Calif., is known to have one of the highest murder rates in the state, let alone the country. Sadly, it's possible that this could be a completely different body altogether.

Kevin's killer has never been identified.
