Authorities in Italy say that mobster Francesco Raccosta went out like Mason Verger in Hannibal, being fed alive to pigs by rivals. Racosta, a member of the 'Ndrangheta organization, vanished from his home last year and his body was never found. However, authorities learned the details of his demise after arresting 24-year-old Simon Pepe of the Mazzagatti clan this week.
After tapping Pepe's phone, they reportedly heard him discuss Raccosta's murder. "It was satisfying to hear him scream...Mamma mia, how he squealed," he allegedly said, marvelling at how the pigs ravaged Raccosta's body.
The grisly act was reportedly a response to the 2012 murder of Mazzagatti boss Domenico Bonarrigo.
