Dream job?

One of the great things that the marijuana industry can do is create jobs. According to a tweet from Denver Post public policy editor Steve McMillan, the publication is seeking an editor to "oversee the development and maintenance of a recreational marijuana website."

Last November, Amendment 64 made the sale, possession and cultivation of marijuana legal to adults 21 and over in Colorado for recreational purposes. The state's first recreational pot shops will open on New Year's Day, giving folks an additional reason to celebrate the New Year.

The job still has yet to be posted to the Digital First Media job board, but it's already a highly-coveted position. Competition for it should be extremely steep, but the question on everyone's mind is will they hold drug test results against applicants? Then again, employees in the U.S. have gotten pretty damn good at passing drug tests.
