Load those Obamacare jokes, because Dominique Ansel Bakery'sonline cronut preorder system is folding under the pressure of demand. The new Valrhona Chocolate Champagne flavor was recently unveiled, and the website was giving customers the ultimate pump-fake by telling them cronuts that had already been sold were still available.
The bakery attributed the problems to Paypal and their server, which they'll have to replace for next week to accomodate the high traffic. This is just a matter of growing pains, not hunger games as people have joked.
