But probably not as Andy Dwyer.

OK, so he probably won't star in this as Andy Dwyer, and that's probably for the best because a visit to Jurassic Park would without a doubt be both the best and the worst thing that's ever happened to Andy—not to digress. Anyway, according to The Wrap, Parks & Recreation star Chris Pratt is in "early talks" to take on the lead role in the upcoming Jurassic World, which is currently in development at Universal.

Pratt, who just finished up a huge role in Marvel's upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy, is said to be in the "very early stages" of talks to step into the lead role in the film. "Pratt would have to navigate the “Jurassic” shooting schedule with that of his TV series “Parks and Recreation” — provided it gets renewed by NBC — as well as overcome several other obstacles in the way," The Wrap explained, before adding that Pratt doesn't have any other commitments apart from Parks lined up for the future.

The lead role in Jurassic World, which will serve as a reboot film for the popular Jurassic Park franchise, was originally set to go to Josh Brolin, but talks reportedly fell through and no deal was made. Currently signed on to appear in the film is Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson, and Ty Simpkins. As for the plot—that's being kept under wraps for now, but Pratt's role would be huge if he chooses to star in the film.

Jurassic World, which is being directed by Safety Not Guaranteed director Colin Trevorrow, is set to be released on June 12, 2015.
