The cost of the beer you may or may not consume plays a role in how much you enjoy the show, because you get what you pay for. This list of the cheapest and most expensive beers at New York City music venues places this into perspective.

At 285 Kent (285 Kent Ave.), the cheapest beer is a $3 PBR, while the most expensive is $5 bottle of Sierra Nevada. The most expensive drink is Happy Juice, which, mixes Red Bull, tequila, pineapple juice and cranberry juice together in an $8 knockout punch. PBR's are $5 at the Bowery Ballroom (6 Delancey St.), while all other beers are $8. Every bottled beer is $7 at the Highline Ballroom (431 W 16th St.), while Silent Barn's (603 Bushwick Ave.) beers range from $4 Tecate to $6 Brooklyn Lager.
