Call of Duty: Ghosts drops tomorrow on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and Wii U but reports from users with early copies reveal that hackers have already taken the game apart and uploaded aimbots, speed boosts and experience mods that have been posted on social media.
Hackers obtained copies of Ghosts current-gen version from official copies being ripped and uploaded to the Internet. The game was then downloaded to hacked consoles where players were able to set up multiplayer lobbies where cheats could be used. Cheats shown on NeoGAF include automatic aiming (aimbots), the ability to see through walls (wall hacks) and an experience boost hack that instantly jumped players to level 20.
YouTube user “MinnesotaBurns” had an early copy and was able to enter one of the hacked lobbies. He recorded his conversation (not quite an interview) as he asked the hosts of the hacked lobby just how they were able to do it.
Call of Duty: Ghosts launches tomorrow for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Windows PC and Wii U. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will launch alongside the consoles later in November.
