Last year's Call of Duty: Black Ops II cleared the billion-dollar mark in just 15 days last October. Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto V crushed a billy in just three days. Activision and Infinity Ward are now reporting that COD: Ghosts has made more than a billion dollars in its first day of sales, making it the most profitable piece of media ever produced.
That raises a larger question: What the hell do you do with a billion dollars? Let's assume that you woke up this morning with nine zeroes in your Swiss bank account: What would you spend it on?
What could you actually buy for a billion dollars?
UPDATE: Activision has clarified that their $1 billion figure is inventory sold to to retailers. This means that stores globally have purchased $1 billion worth of physical inventory, Activision has not yet been paid $1 billion by actual customers.
