Federal officials say that over 10 tons of marijuana was seized today at the Nogales-Mariposa Port of Entry along the U.S.-Mexico border, just outside of Nogales, Ariz.

During a press conference, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol officials identified this as the largest seizure in state history, topping the previous record of seven tons, which was set on Jan. 15. The marijuana was removed from a truck and the driver, a Mexican citizen, was taken into custody.

According to authorities, the marijuana is worth over $10.1 million.
