When you're disgustingly wealthy, you don't have second thoughts about dropping nearly six figures on something disposable. Vladimir Potanin—the fourth-richest man in Russia, a business partner of Brooklyn Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov and owner of a $14 billion fortune—recently purchased the "largest white truffle in the world" for $95,000. Why? Shit, why not?

Nello Balan, the man behind Nello (696 Madison Ave.), managed to get his hands on the four-pound treat. He claims that Potanin swooped in and purchased it last Thursday before any customers got to lay eyes on it. Wealth is totally wasted on the rich, no?
