It's not often you hear Tom Hanks of all people bemoaning a missed opportunity in his long and storied career, since he's pretty much done it all. The exception? A superhero movie. And in an interview with Showbizz 411, your boy Tom is downright upset that he's never been called to star in one.
He doesn't just want to be "the guy in the suit who tells the superheroes what's going on" either. He's thinking Batman villain level! Or starring as The Flash—though that ship has clearly sailed. Obviously he's just being playful, but then again, imagine Hanks as Lex Luthor, perhaps. That sure would do a lot to stow the #Batfleck hate.
