Proof that, sometimes, life is wonderful: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have been confirmed as the hosts of the Golden Globes again—this time, not for one, but two years. In other words, the Golden Globes are now appointment viewing through 2015.

"Tina and Amy are two of the most talented comedic writer/performers in our business, and they were a major reason the Golden Globes was the most entertaining awards show of last season," NBC president of alternative and late night programming Paul Telegdy said of the news. "We’re elated they wanted to host together again and that they committed for the next two years."

It's no surprise that NBC would be desperate to get the two back—when they first hosted earlier this year, ratings jumped up 28 percent in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic, and 19.7 million total viewers tuned in, a six-year high. Additionally, reviews were overwhelmingly positive.

While this takes the two of them out of the running for Oscar hosts, that didn't seem likely to happen anyway—the two of them have both openly stated that they didn't think they'd want to host the Oscars if it were offered to them, because of the time commitment involved. The two have spoken positively about their experience hosting the Golden Globes earlier this year, however.
