That didn't take long. After reports of gunfire at the U.S. Capitol Building were reported earlier today, Republican Congressman Tim Griffin of Arkansas took to Twitter to blame the shooting on President Obama and the Democrats. With the area on lockdown, Griffin tweeted:

After quickly deleting the tweet, Griffin offered an apology, but by then it it was too late (FWIW we agree with Young Guac, the congressman could use a social media expert):
