Taylor Gourmet, the D.C.-area hoagie-slinger which names its sandwiches after streets and roads in Philadelphia, introduced a revamped menu today. Morning people should be ecstatic about the return of the breakfast hoagies, while other, brand new additions include the Federal Street hoagie, a combination of dried and hot capicola, Genoa salami, pepperoni, basil, fresh mozzarella and roasted tomato vinaigrette.
Sadly, a few hoagies (the Kelly Drive; the Schuylkill Expressway) are going away to make room for the newcomers and the grand return of the breakfast hoagie. Still, to ease the pain, Taylor is offering a free side salad with the purchase of a hoagie or salad through Sunday. Your options include the kale side salad, pasta salad, potato salad and chickpea salad.
