Need a way to send money to your friend after you left your wallet at the house during lunch? With Square's new app, Square Cash, you can send your buddy the money with just an email.
With the Android or iOS app, all you have to do is type in an amount, and the app will send an email to your friend's email address. Since the app is linked to your debit card, your friend will have an easy way to retrieve the money, which should arrive within a day or two. And the app isn't trying to take your money, either: there are no fees for the money you send. There are a few other apps like this out on the market, but Square's reputation has being an easy service for merchants, gives other apps like Venmo or PayPal some competition.
