IndieCade was last weekend, shining a light on great indie-developers in the world’s largest independent gaming festival. This year's top honors went to the 20th Century cyber punk themed Quadrilateral Cowboy developed by Blendo Games.

Quadrilateral Cowboy puts gamers in charge of a top-of-the line laptop with a 56.6k modem and a whopping 256k RAM to hack your way through the pre-internet world and take advantage of open security systems before the world invented the term "cyber security." Sadly we remember having a desktop will lower specs than that but this game features a laptop, a truly phenomenal piece of hardware back in the day.

IndieCade gives out awards for best audio, visuals, story design and other categories. One of our favorites and the winner of both the Visuals and Story/World Design categories was for Kentucky Route Zero.

Check out the complete list of winners at IndieCade and the high-tech 20th century cyber punk greatness that is Quadrilateral Cowboy in the trailer above.
