Some Colorado Papa John's Locations Are Definitely Feeling "The Peyton Factor"

Could Tim Tebow have pulled this off?

Peyton Manning has been slinging pizzas like touchdowns in Colorado. The future Hall of Famer purchased 21 Papa John's franchises around the state when he signed with the Denver Broncos last year, and all of them are selling more pizza than they previously did.

According to TMZ Sports, many of the locations used to sell between $3,000 and $4,000 worth of pizza on Broncos game days. Since Manning became a Bronco, that figure has increased to between $5,000 and $6,000, or about 60 pizzas every hour.

This jump in sales is definitely Peyton-related: Other Papa John's in the area not owned by Manning haven't experienced the same success.

Furthermore, each store that Manning owns offers a discount the Monday after a Broncos victory. The Broncos are 6-0, thus giving football and pizza fans in Colorado even more reason to love Manning. Now they can enjoy boxes upon boxes of Papa John's with some Peyton or Eli Manningweed.
