Developers for the latest Gran Turismo racing franchise, Gran Turismo 6, announced the inclusion of world famous Bathurst Circuit in this year's game.

Located in Australia, Bathurst Circuit (also known as Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit) hosts the Bathurst 12 hour motor race and the Bathurst 1000 in New South Wales, Australia. Polyphony Digital CEO Kazunori Yamauchi said adding the famous track "seemed right."

"Since its inception 15 years ago, Gran Turismo has listened to fan feedback and added extra features so that we now offer 1,200 cars and 33 circuits from all across the world," Yamauchi said. "It seems only right that the legendary Mount Panorama circuit is included as fans will now have a chance to drive one of the toughest tracks out there. Described by some as Australia's very own Nürburgring, this is a formidable track that will provide an exciting new challenge for PlayStation gamers."

Gran Turismo 6just received a confirmed release date of December 6, and is a exclusive Playstation title. Check out the video for a preview of the Bathurst Circuit, it may just sway your decision to buy.
