Let’s be honest, Gambit has never been the most exciting of the X-Men. He doesn’t have blades coming out of his fists, can't control the weather and we've never seen him fire any death rays out of his eyes. It seems about all he does it sit around and smoke and offer bits of West Bank accent-laden wisdom.
Well The Pete Holmes Show decided enough was enough! Although they got the accent completely wrong - he's French Canadian now? - It's still pretty amazing to watch him get the pink slip.
These Ex-Men segments will be a recurring sketch on The Pete Holmes Show premiering on TBS after Conan starting October 28th.
