The sight of a clown pointing a gun at you is enough to give adults nightmares, unless it's the last thing you see before you die. However, you're losing either way. A former member of Mexico's Tijuana Cartel was killed on Friday by gunmen, one of whom was allegedly wearing a clown mask.

Francisco Rafael Arellano Felix, 63, was at a hotel in Cabo San Lucas when he was shot in the head. He had served time in both American and Mexican prisons before being released in 2008 after a stint for the sale of cocaine.

According to CNN, the U.S. Justice Department has said that the Tijuana Cartel was run by the Arellano Felix family. As of the middle of this year, three members of the family were incarcerated in U.S. prisons and another was killed in 2002 shootout with police.

As of last night, no arrests had been made in connection with Arellano Felix's murder.
