Zach Galifianakis' Between the Ferns segment for Funny or Die is always funny on a consistent basis, but this is on another level. In the newest installment, Galifianakis invited Justin Bieber for the most awkward interview between two ferns yet, and then proceeded to make comments like, "I'm sorry, I've never interviewed a seven year old before," and "When you're in the recording studio, do you ever think, 'Hey, what if I don't make something shitty?' Does that ever pop into your mind in the process?" Finally, someone says it. If you watch one video today—this whole week, in fact—make it this one.
Galifianakis also brings up all the stupid, immature things that Bieber has been doing recently, like peeing in a mop bucket at a restaurant and saying he hopes Anne Frank would have "been a belieber." Then he yells at Bieber and spanks him with his belt, and it's GLORIOUS.
"You're not a child, and that's the point," Galifianakis tells him afterwards, calmly, "so I can hit a grown man with a belt."
