After sitting on the backburner for years now, that much-talked about Tupac Shakur biopic from Morgan Creek Productions is finally moving forward with Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films—and an estimated $45 million budget. According to Deadline, the film will begin production in 2014.

No word yet on who'll be portraying Tupac, but with production slated to begin in February 2014, it shouldn't be long before the studio secures an actor for the role. Before the casting happens, we have some suggestions. Here's who we would cast in the Tupac biopic.
