This season on The CW's hit series Arrow, The Flash—specifically the Barry Allen iteration—will join the long list of DC Comics personalities and superheroes to cross paths with Oliver Queen/Green Arrow. Scheduled to appear in at least three episodes, the press release says:
"BARRY ALLEN is a Central City assistant police forensic investigator who arrives in Starling to look into a series of unexplained robberies that may have a connection to a tragedy in his past. A comic book fan boy, Barry is obsessed with the Arrow unaware that working with Oliver and Felicity to solve the crime has brought him right into the dangerous world of the vigilante. "
Kyle Gallner appeared as "Bart Allen" on Smallville, but Barry will be portrayed by Grant Gustin (whom you probably remember best as Sebastian on Glee). The second season of Arrow starts up on Oct 9, at 8:00.
