Splinter Cell and the green-eyed stealth soldiers of Fourth Echelon are teaming up with Ghost Recon in the free-to-play online shooter Ghost Recon Online. Players can get all the gear of Sam Fischer including weapons, attachments and experience bonuses.
Ubisoft announced that starting today new weapons and a new map would be added, Khyber Stronghold is set in the Middle East and is "the most ambitious map we've developed to date."
“The spies of Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon Online’s Ghosts can now go toe-to-toe with the Phantoms,” said Ubisoft producer Corey Facteau. “Our community is more than three million strong, who we work to continuously provide new content for. Our goal is to keep their experience fresh and dynamic so we’re looking forward to seeing how they explore Khyber Stronghold and use Sam Fisher’s items in-game.”
Ghost Recon Online is a free-to-play game, sign-up at Ubisoft's official site.
