The popularity of cucakes has now made them an instrument of crime. New Jersey law enforcement says that 23-year-old Shannon Henry offered her neighbor cupcakes before snatching his keys and escaping with his car. Henry reportedly went to the man's Fair Lawn, N.J. home armed with the baked goods, then took his keys while he was distracted. It wasn't until the following day that the man realized that his car—and a bowl containing $10 worth of change—was gone .

While Henry's initial plan was good, her follow-through needs work: police found the car in a parking lot right across the street. She's been charged with theft and burlglary.
