Gaming is complex, so catch up each week with the short and dirty in Reboot: This Week In Games.

This week Microsoft ended the speculation by finally announcing the release date for the Xbox One as well a ton of details about the liquid black box. Controllers, external hard drives, Xbox 360 support oh my!

XCOM: Enemy Within got two new trailers this week showing off the new weapons and mechs of the fully updated re-release. While everyone is still waiting to get online in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn we've offered a page of diversions. Not the least of which is the eerily not so futuristic Watch Dogs gameplay trailer.

Worried that Grand Theft Auto V, which releases in less than two weeks, won't be legit enough? Have no fear, a writer and producer of Rockstar's upcoming mega-title details how many of the voice-overs are acted by "real" gang members and not wimpy Hollywood types.

2K and Firaxis Games released two new trailers for their relaunch of XCOM: Enemy Within. Past XCOM games have focuses on achieving mental and psi strength against opponents to mind control them or more importantly to stop your team from being mind controlled. Now players will be able to turn their well-groomed troops into walking cyborg death machines. RoboCop mod anyone?

The second trailer is a gameplay demo showing off a few new weapons and mechs and some very impressive glam-cam rocket action. This full expansion to XCOM: Enemy Unknown also adds new maps, new tactical and strategic gameplay and new multiplayer content. XCOM: Enemy Within retail re-release set to drop on November 12 for PC with possible DLC later for about $30. Stay tuned for details.

In other sci-fi news a new Space Hulk game is in development by Streum On Studio to be published by Focus Home Interactive dubbed Space Hulk: Deathwing. The first person shooter will have all the creepiness and space marine explosions we'd expect from a Space Hulk game.

Also reported this week is all listed Titanfall beta are scams. We'll have to wait until next year to play Titanfall and we hope for a beta soon as possible but don't get taken by these scammers. Stay on top of official release news on the game’s official Twitter.

Lastly for fans of the Homeworld series there is a new title in the pipe! Blackbird Interactive is a game house founded by former founding members of Relic Entertainment, Homeworld's developer. The deal was signed at PAX last week and more than just renaming Shipbreakers, Gearbox will help Blackbird Interactive complete the game and finance production. The RTS world rejoices!

Street Fighter turns 25 years old this year and although there are no current plans to release another, we have fond memories of destroying our best friends in the local arcade. Sonic Boom! Check out this great little documentary about the 1987 classic.

Check out this guy in South Carolina this biblical Street Fighter hybrid paint job. The tailgate reads, "Fight the Good Fight of Faith." What would do Jesus do? Hadoken!

EA Sports and the UFC have announced that they will add female fighters to the next series of Ultimate Fighting games. "In our commitment to delivering the most realistic fighting experience ever achieved, we wanted to represent the full spectrum of talent and diversity of all the fighters in the sport, including women who have become an undeniable force to be reckoned with," said Dean Richards, general manager of the EA Sports UFC franchise at EA.

Lastly in driving news, 2K Drive is now available worldwide for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. The slick racing game from Lucid Studios, founded by creators of Blur and Project Gotham Racing, offers the graphical and technical depth of console-based driving for mobile devices.

While everyone is waiting for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn to load, squeeze in this interesting little documentary. A Realm Reborn was released on August 27 but has been plagued by server issues ever since. The main problem stems from Square Enix vastly underestimating the quantity and speed of sales. There response, in part, has been to limit digital downloads while adding new servers.

Final Fantasy XIV director Naoki Yoshida has confirmed that, Square's PS4 version will look better and have better specs than it currently has.

If you're still loading A Realm Reborn or maybe your sound didn't work and had to reload, then check out this free mobile version of Ultima IV. Origins Systems' classic Ultima 4: Quest of the Avatar has been released for iOS devices by developer Elite Systems, for free. The Commodore 64 version is released as a cross-promotional effort as its spiritual successor Ultima Forever: Quest for the Avatar, EA Mythic's free-to-play mobile game that was recently released.
