In Superman #23.2, writer Tony Bedard sheds some light on the backstory of one of the Man of Steel’s oldest foes: Brainiac. This is an unsettling origin update that combines sci-fi action and a horror movie atmosphere to give us a chilling study of this computerized menace. Along with some jaw-dropping interior art by Pascal Alixe, the 3D cover for the issue was illustrated by Gene Ha, one of the industry's top talents.
