Many tributes have come out for Nintendo's former president Hiroshi Yamauchi since he passed away last week. Now Nintendo's most beloved composer has contributed two new remixes of his classic game compositions.

Hirokazu Tanaka is best know for his musical compisitions in many classic Nintendo games in the 1980s. Tanaka's work ranges from Doctor Mario, Duck Hunt, Super Mario Land and Metroid just to name a few. So don't expect these two tracks to be sad, they're nothing if not upbeat.

Nintendo’s former president Hiroshi Yamauchi died of pneumonia at age 85. Mr. Yamauchi ran Nintendo for 53 years, taking it from the slightly seedy makers of trading cards and love hotel investors, into the company that would bring us the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), SNES, N64 and the GameCube.
