The 21st of September always stands out. Earth, Wind & Fire has a lot to do with that, but the day also signals the end of summer, the change of seasons.

This Saturday, More Than Frnds will officially end the summer with a figurative 21-gun salute called "The Endless Summer." After a string of successful '90s-themed parties, they're asking attendees to show up in beach attire. That means bathing suits, tank tops, shorts and flip-flops. That, and the beach balls that will no doubt fly through the air, fit the theme perfectly.

DJ Spicoli and party mastermind Tastefaker will be the DJs, and they'll be joined by special guest Nacey at Liv (2001 11th St. NW) from 10 p.m. until it's over. The party is free if you RSVP and complimentary drinks will be available with that RSVP until 11 p.m.

The summer jams will be abundant, but it's still going down like this on Saturday night:

P.S.—Don't you dare wear Crocs.
