Veteran character actor (and director, and comedian) Michael Rapaport will terrorize Harlan County and sqaure off with US Marshal Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) on the next season of FX's highly underrated, Elmore Leonard-inspired crime series Justified.

Fans of the show will be delighted to learn that he'll be playing Dale Crowe, a relative to recurring bad guy/village idiot Dewey Crowe. Dale is described as a ruthless ex-con and gator farmer (!), the head of a white-trash family who will apparently be the source of Raylan's headaches for much of the season.

Over the seasons Justified has provided a platform for many great actors to flex in delightfully colorful, Leonard-like villainous roles, like Margo Martindale, Mike O'Malley and Jere Burns. Which is to say, Rapaport is going to kill it. Season five will premiere during the show's usual start time of early January. That's plenty of time to get familiar if you haven't already.
