Authorities say they discovered a kilo of meth stashed inside of the frames of two large pieces of religious art. Documents unsealed yesterday revealed that the parcel was caught in Memphis last week and that two large packages containing white powder were found inside of the frames.

The package, which was en route to Pittsburgh from Mexico, was delivered to a store after an undercover Pennsylvania state trooper allowed the owner to sign for it. Four hours later, Carmel Rojas-Perez arrived to pick it up. Rojas-Perez was arrested and charged with drug smuggling.
