Kurt Cobain's mother is putting the Abereen, Wash. home that the Nirvana frontman grew up in on the market. Wendy O'Connor is selling the 1.5 story home, which was valued at under $67,000, on the market for $500,000. Built in 1923, it's just a brief walk from the park dedicated to Cobain and his old bedroom still has the names of Led Zeppelin and Iron Maiden scrawled into the walls.

The home was purchased by Cobain's parents in 1969, when he was just 2-years-old. He lived there until the age of 9 when they separated, then returned during his late-teen years.

This news comes the same week that Nirvana's Nevermind turned 22. Give it a spin this week, if you aren't already listening.
