The fan response towards the Boston Batman has been overwhelmingly negative thus far, but most of Ben Affleck's Hollywood peers have voiced their support, with his Runner, Runner co-star Justin Timberlake being the latest. But aside from calling Ben "an extreme talent [that could] surprise a lot of people," JT also half-jokingly declared what part, if offered, he'd like to play in the Batfleck regime: The Riddler.

During an appearance on Fresh 102.7's "Jim & Kim" show, the president of pop mentioned that he's a life-long Batman fan and the character he'd love to play—because he's not about that Boy Wonder life—is none other than The Riddler, which explains his affinity for fedoras. "The Riddler is my favorite villain. The Riddler was like a sociopath. He was proper crazy. So if I’m gonna play crazy, I’m wanna play proper crazy.”

Riddler received the silver screen treatment back in 1995 in Batman Forever with Jim Carrey in the green question-marked tights opposite Val Kilmer. His goofy performance worked for the most part but it was far from the memorably iconic level of Jack Nicholson, Heath Ledger or even Danny Devito and Michelle Pfeiffer. In fact, during the long and painful gap between The Dark Knight and Dark Knight Rises, speculation ran rampant that Christopher Nolan would offer his own take on Riddler. JT probably isn't serious, but after the Man of Steel sequel, the possibilites are indeed endless for a new solo Batman franchise, so who knows?
