The mumps appear to have hit the state of New Jersey and health officials believe a Jersey Shore nightclub is responsible. The Monmouth Health Department says D'Jais, which was shut down this weekend, is the root of the problem. At this point, "all but one" of the 27 possible cases (only one has been confirmed as mumps, so far) either worked at or visited the club recently. The exception is a child; officials are not certain how the child became ill.

D'Jais will open its doors once again following a weekend of thorough cleaning and lost money. A Jersey Shore club possibly crawling with disease—who would've thought it?
