Another gift from your friends at Microsoft.
In continuation of their "Free with Gold" promotion, Microsoft revealed the next title that will be available for free download to members with a Xbox Live Gold subscription. Bungie's, Halo 3, has been announced as the next game that will hit the free market.
Starting October 19, any Xbox Gold member can download Halo 3 for free for a limited time. The promotion previously included blockbuster titles such as Rainbow Six Vegas and Assassins Creed 2. Microsoft may be adding big name titles in a possible attempt to gain good will and press with consumers following a rather poor showing at the Xbox One reveal press conference.
Halo 3 was possibly the biggest release in 2007, so head to the marketplace and download your free copy as the offer won't last more than a few weeks.
