One of the best parts of Grand Theft Auto V is jumping into a car, cranking the radio and causing some mayhem. Now you can grab some of those tracks in The Music of Grand Theft Auto V compilation on iTunes. Although maybe leave the mayhem in-game.
This new compilation is split into three different albums: The first are 18 tracks of original music for the game including artists like Wavves, Flying Lotus, A$AP Rocky, 100s and Yeasayer.
The second volume is the original score by the German electronic band Tangerine Dream, Woody Jackson (Red Read Redemption, L.A. Noire) and hip-hop producers The Alchemist and On No. Since the score is interactive within the game DJ Shadow was brought in to do the album mix.
Volume three features a soundtrack snippet from the in-game radio stations. Grand Theft Auto V has 15 music radio stations with 240 licensed songs so volume three is only a tiny party of the sound of GTA. Artists include George McCrae, Weirdos, Bob Seger, Simple Minds and Cashmere Cat to name just a few.
This collection is far from the total sound of GTA V but will keep us from having to boot up just to sit in our virtual car and listen to the radio. The Music of Grand Theft Auto V is $24.99 for the complete set or $9.99 for each individual album. Grab the album on iTunes here.
