George Zimmerman is now being accused of stealing from his mother-in-law. Shellie Zimmerman's mother, Machelle Dean, owns the home where she and George Zimmerman resided before their separation. Zimmerman was supposed to officially vacate the premises by yesterday, and Dean is claiming that he took hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise—including a television and furniture—with him.

While CBS News initially said that no suspects were identified, TMZ says Dean named Zimmerman as a suspect in the police report. An investigation is ongoing, and police have yet to determine whether they will treat this as a civil or criminal case.

Zimmerman has done all but maintain a low profile since being acquitted for killing Trayvon Martin in July. Earlier this month, he was taken into custody after allegedly striking Shellie Zimmerman's father, David Dean, during a domestic dispute. Though Shellie Zimmerman and her father did not press charges, the Miami New Times says that Zimmerman regrets that decision.
