In an unbelievable turn of events, Click Orlando is reporting that George Zimmerman was taken into custody in Central Florida today after yet another incident involving a firearm. Authorities in Lake Mary, Fla. say they were summoned to a residence this afternoon following a report that Zimmerman got into an argument with a person and a threat was made.

This news comes just days after Zimmerman's wife, Shellie, filed for divorce. We will update with more information as it becomes available.

UPDATE: Shellie Zimmerman reportedly called 911 this afternoon to report that George Zimmerman threatened her family with a gun. A 911 call released by authorities features Shellie Zimmerman telling a dispatcher that her husband kept inching "a step closer" to them with "his hand on his gun." She was convinced Zimmerman was going to shoot them.

According to Lake Mary Police Chief Steve Bracknell, both Shellie Zimmerman and her father, David Dean, refused to press charges against George Zimmerman. Zimmerman was released, as Bracknell said "We have no victim, no crime."

Officer Zach Hudson added that Zimmerman's firearm had been seized, but more than likely [they'll] be giving it back." Shellie Zimmerman's 20-year-old brother, DJ, told the Orlando Sentinel that the Trayvon Martin shooting changed his brother-in-law. "Before the incident he was probably the nicest person I ever met," he explained. "I think the guilt and self-hatred got to him."
