iFruit is Rockstar's companion application for Grand Theft Auto V out now for iOS. The Android and Windows phone versions are not yet available but that hasn't stopped enterprising scammers from making up their own fake apps.

iFruit allows Grand Theft Auto V players to create license plates, modify vehicles and train Chop the dog new tricks. The app has had some problems getting up and running on iOS but nothing has been more frustrating for Android owners than accidentaly downloading fake iFruit apps from the Google Play that are suspected as being malware.

Google has begun to take some of these imitators down but Android owners should be aware that versions for their phones and devices have yet to be announced. Stay tuned to Complex and Rockstar Games for details about future iFruit cross-platform releases.
