Fable Anniversary, the HD remake of the original Fable, has been delayed until 2014. According to Lionhead Studios Lead Desinger, Ted Timmins, "we've been working hard for the past year to bring you the very best Fable Anniversary experience on Xbox 360. We feel though that we need a little more time in order to meet our ambitions and give you, the fans, the best game possible."

Lionhead unveiled Anniversary back in June as a remake of Fable and its Lost Chapters expansion packs. The new version will have many improvements: HD visuals, new user interface, faster loading times, a new save system and tons of achievements to collect.

Fable Anniversary is set to drop on Xbox 360 in February 2014 to be released on store shelves and for digital download.
