D.C. ramen spot Daikaya(705 6th St. NW #1), arguably one of the best new restaurants in the city, is introducing a new menu with some additions that are sure to be popular. Additions like pop tart and doughnut ice cream sandwiches. Doughnut ice cream sandwiches are all the rage in D.C. right now thanks to a little experiement by Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken, which Daikaya will now incorporate to extend its excellence beyond ramen.

The restaurant has introduced a new late night menu from 11 p.m. until 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays where other delectables like "okonomiyake style" tater tots and multiple bao variations like fried chicken nugget bao, fried horse mackerel bao and pork belly bao will be available. The launch begins this weekend; check out the new menu here.
