Activision ambushed us this morning with a brand new Call of Duty for iOS. Call of Duty: Strike Team is a squad-based first-person shooter/hybrid out now for iPhone and iPad for $6.99.
Strike Team has a single player campaign set in the near-future worldwide conflict where the player controls a squad. The game is a hybrid between traditional COD first person shooters that switches to a third-person Drone View where players can direct their squad and get a better angle on stealth attacks.
Another feature is a survival section where players must defeat wave and wave of increasingly challenging opponents. This Survival Mode has online leader boards and tons of perks and tokens to be earned during the course of play.
