Final Fantasy maybe a brand that no longer has any sense of what it what was (arguably), but that doesn’t mean Square isn’t capable of still putting out an old-school adventure along the same lines.
It was surprising enough that they announced Bravely Default was coming to the US at all, considering the RPG giant was mum on news of it for so long. But here it is: the first English trailer for the 3DS Final Fantasy spiritual-successor (can a game even have a spiritual successor if the series is still going?), replete with airships, elemental crystals, old-school mechanics and some pretty gorgeous art.
But can we please do something about that voice acting?
