DICE, the makers of Battlefield 4 have announced all multiplayer modes included in the upcoming shooter ahead of the start of the October 1 beta.

Battlefield 4 includes seven game modes and ten multiplayer maps. Watch the trailer here. The beta will let players try out the Siege of Shanghai map shown off at recent preview events, and we hope, parachute out of a moving jet.

The complete game modes are listed below, only a few will be playable in the beta:

  • Conquest (beta) - designed for 24 players on PS3 and Xbox 360, 64 players on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Commander mode: Optional.
  • Domination (beta) - designed for 20 players on all platforms. Commander mode: No.
  • Obliteration - designed for 24 players on PS3 and Xbox 360, 32 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Commander mode: Optional.
  • Defuse - designed for 5 vs. 5 players on all platforms. Commander mode: No.
  • Team Deathmatch - designed for 20 players on all platforms. Commander mode: No.
  • Rush - designed for 24 players on PS3 and Xbox 360, 32 players on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Commander mode: Optional.
  • Squad Deathmatch - designed for 16 players on all platforms. Commander mode: Optional.
