On Monday evening, a woman smacked her vehicle into a bar located in the Bronx. While driving down Boston Road, she reportedly lost control of the vehicle before striking two pedestrians and four storefronts, one of which was the Mile Gully Restaurant & Lounge.
Alfred Johnson said he was seated at the bar when he heard the distinct sound of screeching tires: “I looked up and saw her coming directly at us," he told the New York Post. Johnson added that one of the pedestrians she hit "was thrown in front of [him]" just before everyone in the bar ducked for cover.
The Post reports that both victims and the driver were transported to Jacobi Medical Center.
