In the third installment of "Damsel in Distress" series from Tropes vs Women in Video Games, Anita Sarkeesian looks at the "ironic sexism" that seemed to accompany many retro games.

Sarkeesian looks to shine a light on the differences between games with powerless female characters and those what require a male character to be rescued by women. The 24 minutes is mostly uncontroversial and eye offers straightforward explanations of some titles that just shouldn't have gone there.
