Hold the Sharknado jokes, New York City: Some cruel soul left a dead shark on an N train that was travelling to Queens. Mary M., who sent photos to Gothamist, said she knew something was beyond fishy when she smelled the foul odor:

She added that an MTA employee had everyone move to another car once they reached Queensboro Plaza. She isn't sure who disposed of the shark, but—as Gothamist notes—this is a tragedy considering that it's Shark Week.
