Time flies when you're killing the game. Three years ago, Rock Creek Social Club was born; with it came their Goodlife D.C. party, arguably the city's best until it ceased last fall. They promised that their goal of bringing a new creative perspective to the city would live on, and it has through various events around the District. Tomorrow night, they'll celebrate their third anniversary by going back to the roots of the "best damn party ever."
Federal Lounge (2477 18th St. NW) will be the setting once again and the Don Julio open bar from the Goodlife days will be resurrected from 10 p.m. until 11 p.m. DJ Jerome Baker lll will be on the turntables all night, but a special guest DJ will appear at some point during the evening. The authentic Rock Creek Social Club musical experience has been promised, which means a little throwback to day one:
